The Innermost Essence Hidden In Tea

Tea is not just a comfort drink when prepared in the perfect manner. Apart from the hydrating properties, tea also protects us from ailments such as constipation, UV rays, kidney stones as well as urinary tract infections. Below are some teas that you can incorporate in your life on a daily basis to stay hydrated and healthy.

1.Black tea:

One of the most widely consumed beverages in the world, black tea consists of a group of polyphenols which have antioxidant properties for flushing out toxic molecules. Even though there are different varieties of black tea that change regionally but it has proved to be hydrating in every way.

2.Dandelion tea:

 Helps in cleansing and maintaining the proper functioning of our body and detoxifying it. It is famous for cleansing the liver. An alternative for people who want to quit drinking caffeinated products like coffee. Protection against the ultra violet rays. For this all you need to do is freeze the tea in an ice tray and apply it on your skin while going outdoors.

3. Rooibos tea:

 Not as popular as green, black and other teas but it has excellent health benefits and a flavour that is aromatic ,sweet and nutty. Rich in alpha hydroxy and zinc –the rooibos tea helps in a glowing skin. Cures pimples , acne and also protects against UV rays.

4. Green tea:

Green tea plays a major role in improving the immune system. Removes sunburns, protects against UV rays. 

Green tea can also be used as sunscreen . For this all you need is -a pan, 2 cups water , half cup green tea leaves,cotton balls.

First of all, take a pan and boil two cups of water with half cup green tea leaves for at least 10 minutes on medium heat. Separate the leaves by straining it and let the solution cool down to room temperature. Dip cotton balls into the solution and apply it on your clean face.  Store the remaining in an airtight container to use later.
